The second-hand marketplace Users Share Anger Regarding Sizing Modifications
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
This online marketplace has altered its sizing categories for female and kids' apparel without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present an altered size classification versus the original listing as a result of the reclassification.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to check their listings and update the measurements by hand when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Updates
Before the change, the sizes had both one number and one letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter with a size spectrum for example S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the size labels have been reassigned - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
User Accounts
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, from Glasgow, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as size 20–22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they may become frustrated," she said.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Marketplace Information
The app has more than 100 million users, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time when a surprising modification within the service has received backlash: previously, Vinted reversed a change concerning shipment methods after backlash from users.
