Residents witnessed large ice chunks measuring up to 7 centimeters in certain regions. Meteorological experts verified that different parts across the state had been impacted by large hailstones.

Meanwhile, approximately 1,000 energy customers in Victoria also encountered electricity disruptions after the capital city recorded its most precipitation in a year and a half.
Rescue organizations received over five hundred emergency reports across the state, mostly for building damage but also for downed trees and flooding.

Damp conditions were predicted to continue along large portions of eastern Queensland this next several days as a low-pressure trough continued to pull in damp air against the coast.
Tuesday was forecast to be the wettest day, with persistent storm activity anticipated across different parts of both areas.

Public health experts alerted that there was an increased chance of weather-related respiratory issues across the countryside regions, especially given the current weather patterns.
This caution comes after past events where similar conditions led to significant health impacts in the state.
